Empower 1,800 Children: Help Us Equip HVTO’s 3 Campuses for 2026–2027
At the Homestay Volunteer Teachers Organization (HVTO) of the HVTO Free Education Program, our mission is to provide 100% free education to 1,800 children every year across our 3 community campuses. From English literacy and digital skills to library programs and character development, we give local youth the essential tools to build a brighter future.
To keep our classrooms running smoothly, maintain our facilities, and provide updated computer labs through late 2026 and all of 2027, we have prepared an estimated material request budget of $62,996.69 across key operational areas:
1. Technology & Computer Lab Equipment — $29,606.70
Digital literacy is vital for our students’ future success. We are upgrading equipment and repurposing hardware directly for our youth:
- 25 Student Laptops: $20,973.75 ($799 each estimated) to equip our teachers with efficient tools and transfer existing devices into student computer labs.
- High-Performance On-Site Laptop: $2,718.45 for photo/video media and communications work across project sites.
- Central Database & Server Storage: $2,698.50 for high-speed SSDs, CPU, 5-bay storage, and NAS drives for local databases and backup systems.
- Workstations & Connectivity: $3,216.00 for administrative desktops, Wi-Fi adapters, and center PCs.
- Campus Facilities, Cooling & Setup — $10,644.90
Creating safe, comfortable spaces across HVTO I, HVTO II, HVTO III (Sophy Pagoda), and HQ:
- HVTO III Office & Library Setup: $3,013.50 for desks, steel filing cabinets, laminator, and heavy-duty printers.
- Classroom Cooling & Airflow: $5,447.40 for heavy-duty floor-standing AC units, ceiling fans, and stand fans across all centers.
- Library Seating & Storage: $2,510.25 for 150 student reading chairs and classroom shoe shelves.
- Classroom Essentials & Learning Supplies — $2,774.26
Equipping 1,800 students with daily learning materials:
- Library Storybooks: $787.50 for 300 Khmer and English books for young readers.
- Outdoor Study Benches: $3,150.00 for 20 outdoor study sets for group reading and outdoor learning.
- Stationery & Teaching Tools: Over $1,800.00 for A4 paper, whiteboard markers, refill inks, erasers, and cards.
- Campus Operations, Maintenance & Health — $19,970.83
Maintaining safe, clean, and well-kept environments across all 3 campuses:
- Hygiene, Health & First Aid: $3,212.16 for sanitizers, first aid kits, trash bins, mops, and cleaning supplies.
- Campus Maintenance & Landscaping: $1,795.50 for lawn mowers, extension ladders, shading nets, and garden tools.
- Staff & Volunteer Uniform Shirts: $1,312.50 for uniforms for 200 volunteer teachers and 50 local staff.
- Electrical, IT Wiring & Hardware: Over $13,600.00 for room locks, power cables, network tools, and general repairs.
How Your Donation Makes an Impact
Every contribution directly supplies a classroom, powers a computer, or keeps a school campus running for 1,800 eager young learners.

- $150 funds an outdoor study bench for group reading.
- $799 sponsors a laptop transferred directly to our student computer lab.
